  • Asphalt Stoning and Grading

    Asphalt Stoning and Grading

If water doesn’t properly drain from the surface of your asphalt, it will eventually penetrate the asphalt and over saturate the base material.

In this state, the base material will not support the asphalt above causing the asphalt to break until the problem is fixed. During the winter, these areas will freeze/thaw making the problem worse.

Making sure that your asphalt project is properly graded will save money in asphalt maintenance down the road.

  • Asphalt Milling

    Asphalt Milling

Asphalt millings are an environmentally friendly and economical alternative to traditional paving using hot asphalt. Commonly referred to as crushed asphalt or recycled asphalt, millings have many different uses and provide a long lasting solution for customers on a budget. Private roads, driveways, foot paths, and parking lots are the most common application for this versatile material.
  • Dry Well

    Dry Well

Dry well provide a reduction in storm water runoff from your property. This also reduces the amount of sediment and other pollutants that would be washed away with the runoff into nearby storm drains and local streams. Dry well facilities have an ability to capture surface water runoff and filter it through the ground. Dry well facilities will improve or increase ground water recharge capacity.

  • Asphalt Risers

    Asphalt Risers

Risers are a cost effective solution for your road and utility maintenance needs. Risers address a major dilemma facing today’s street maintenance departments by raising manhole castings to grade quickly and inexpensively, yet permanently. Manhole risers can help to absorb the constant impact of traffic hitting the top of the manhole frame. Without them, you will end up with manholes that are below the surface, which can cause damage to vehicles, bikers or snowplows.
  • Catch Basin

    Catch Basin

A typical catch basin is constructed of a cone, reducer top, riser rings and a steel frame and grate. Over time asphalt will shrink from around the catch basin frames and water often times will seep into that void before it has a chance to drain into the catch basin. In winter, as the runoff is mixed with highly corrosive parking lot salt, there is an even greater chance of the foundation to deteriorate. The freeze/thaw cycles we have in New York further accelerate the deterioration process. If catch basins are left unrepaired the asphalt in the surrounding area will further deteriorated and cave in because of base erosion and asphalt failure.
  • Pulverizing or Full Depth Reclamation

    Pulverizing or Full Depth Reclamation

Asphalt pulverizing is a recycling process that grinds existing asphalt in place in a single pass and blends it with the underlying materials to form a quality base material.

There are many benefits to pulverizing asphalt. Because reclamation can eliminate trucking, labor costs, and off-site processing fees, the technique will drastically impact your project costs.

Depending on site size and conditions, using full depth reclamation as opposed to removal and replacement could generate a cost savings of over 50%.

  • I had Lenihan Paving pave my new driveway in Lake Luzerne. I have nothing but praise for Justin and his team. He quoted a price on the spot, he brought more stone than he estimated because the job needed it. It was a non typical driveway and he and his team more than measured up. They were neat, very meticulous in making the seams... seamless and packing the edges where the driveway met an irregular stone wall! I'm very critical of contractors in general, but Lenihan's did what they said, when they said and for the price they said… it was all done on a handshake! ***** 4.95 out of 5 stars, because I don't give out 5s.

    - Mark, Lake Luzerne, NY

  • I recently had Lenihan Paving repave my asphalt driveway and am extremely happy with the results. Justin was very professional from the initial estimate through the completion of the job. He was very precise during the estimate as to how he would do the job to produce a quality product, and quoted me a very competitive price. The day of the work, he and his crew arrived with a line of very capable and well maintained equipment. His crew was very personable, efficient, meticulous, and it was obvious they took great pride in their work. The job was completed as specified on the initial estimate and I could not be happier with the results- a quality job at a reasonable price.

  • I have recommended them to 2 of my friends, one commercial business and one residential, and they both selected Justin from multiple bids and raved about the results. I met Justin a few years ago and he's a family man with an extensive background and expertise in paving. What most people may not know is that he also specialized in upscale and custom jobs. Here's an example of his business practices: after winning a job by presenting the best price to my friend, Justin ended up with some extra material at the end of the job. Instead of dumping it and calling it a day, Justin asked if there was anything else that needed paving and my friend ended up with an extra paved walkway from his driveway to his front porch on the house!!! How crazy is that? I'd refer you to Lenihan Paving just like I've already referred people in real life.

    - Luke B., Albany, NY

  • I would like to thank Justin Lenihan and his paving team for an exceptional job at digging out and replacing our driveway with new asphalt. From start to finish they were professional making our paving experience nothing but wonderful! Thanks again Lenihan Paving. A job well done!!!
